# Terms of Use

By using the Cork & Journey mobile app or corkandjourney.com
(together, the “Service”), you agree to these terms.
## The Service
Cork & Journey is an independent guide to corkage-friendly
restaurants and the wines worth bringing through their doors.
Restaurant information is contributed by users, reviewed by our team,
and maintained on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy
of corkage policies. Confirm with the restaurant before you go.
## User submissions
When you submit a corkage fee or report a listing error:
– You confirm the information is accurate to the best of your
knowledge.
– You grant Cork & Journey a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to
publish your submission in the app and on corkandjourney.com.
– You retain ownership of any photos you attach but grant us a
license to display them alongside the listing.
– You will not submit content you do not have permission to share.
## Cork & Journey Pro subscription
Cork & Journey Pro is an auto-renewable subscription required to
continue using the app after the free trial period.
– Free trial: 14 days from the moment you start the trial. No
charge during this period.
– Subscription price: $1.99 USD per month after the trial. Apple
charges your payment method through your Apple ID.
– Renewal: Apple automatically renews 24 hours before each
billing period ends, unless canceled at least 24 hours before
that point.
– Cancellation: iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Cork
and Journey → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at
the end of the current billing period.
– Refunds: All refunds are handled by Apple per their published
refund policy at
[reportaproblem.apple.com](https://reportaproblem.apple.com).
– Loss of access: If your subscription lapses, the app’s
paywall returns, and you lose access to Cork & Journey until you
renew or resubscribe.
## Acceptable use
You will not:
– Submit false or misleading information
– Attempt to access another user’s account or data
– Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
– Use the Service to harass restaurant staff or owners
– Resell or redistribute Cork & Journey listings without permission
## Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is.” We do our best to keep corkage
information current, but restaurants change their policies
frequently. We are not responsible for any disagreement at the
restaurant about a listed fee. Bring the bottle, ask the host,
expect that things change.
## Termination
We may terminate or suspend access if you violate these terms. You
may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the app and
emailing sky@corkandjourney.com to delete your data.
## Limitation of liability
Cork & Journey is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or
consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our
total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you
paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever
is greater.
## Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California,
USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
## Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in
the app and reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
