As you would expect, this wine has a beautiful amber color, showcasing its age and maturity.
On the nose, we picked up aromas of fig, plum, and almonds.
The mouthfeel is generous, lively, and balanced, showing notes of butterscotch, fig, almonds, caramel, dark chocolate, and cinnamon.
This port is an out-and-out winner for the price. Well-balanced with a long finish, it is worth the purchase. Pour yourself a glass and settle in with your favorite cigar, or if cigars aren’t your thing, try this with some Parmesan or Manchego cheese.
