Located in the southern Rhône Valley, Château Mont-Thabor has been in the Stehelin family for over 140 years. The 24-hectare estate produces wines under several appellations, including Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes du Rhône, and Luberon. Management is shared between Fanny Stehelin and her husband, Vincent Brémond, with winemaking led by Fanny’s father, Daniel Stehelin. The domaine’s certified organic vineyards reflect its commitment to sustainable and traditional viticulture.

Estate History & Ownership

The Stehelin family purchased Château Mont-Thabor in 1881. Today, three generations of expertise guide the estate’s production. Daniel Stehelin, the long-standing winemaker, is known for his traditional approach that prioritizes terroir expression. His daughter, Fanny, plays a central role in operations, while her husband, Vincent Brémond, a fourth-generation winemaker from Luberon, brings his own vineyard holdings and experience to the estate.

  • Grown at 400–500 m altitude in sandy-slate soils.
  • Natural yeast fermentation, aged on lees.
